A grader is a versatile earthmoving construction machine, and its primary applications can be summarized as follows:

Subgrade processing and shaping:

Motor graders are primarily used for ground leveling, trenching, slope scraping, earthmoving, soil loosening, snow removal, and other operations on large areas such as roads, airports, and farmland.

During subgrade construction, graders are capable of filling and excavating the soil foundation, ensuring the subgrade achieves the required flatness, and removing soil and debris as well as fine particles from the surface of the soil foundation.

It can also be used to adjust the cross-section of the roadbed and correct the slope of the embankment, providing an ideal supporting surface for subsequent paving work, such as pavement, shoulder, slope, and drainage ditch.

Pavement maintenance and edge painting:

The grader plays an important role in road maintenance, and can be used for scraping and shaping the base and surface layers of the road.

After paving the road, a grader can be used to remove excess material from the surface and perform edge trimming operations, making the road surface more tidy and aesthetically pleasing.

Excavation of side ditches and foundation pits:

Utilizing the cutting capability of its scraper, the grader can excavate side ditches and foundation pits, and adjust them to achieve the specified slope at the bottom of the ditch and foundation pit, thus preventing water accumulation.
